Talon is back and as bad ass as ever! In this edition, he has to battle an evil physic and his force of ghosts. He needs some special equipment though, so we get to see some awesome new additions to his armory!! That's about all I can say about the plot because I don't want to spoil it, so I'll get down to my thoughts.

There isn't much more I can say about Talon either, that I haven't already. He is such a bad ass!! Here we get to see him dealing with something totally new, ghosts. To do that, his mentor and benefactor has created. It's always nice to see Talon with machines, but to experience the newness with him was awesome! He was enthusiastic about them, as was I ;).

Everything about this series rocks. It's hard to review each separately because of spoilers, but each one brings something new to the table. Poor Talon has so much to deal with, yet each time he never fails to try. He is a hero through and through!

Added extra to this one is a bonus book called Coffin Collector. This was quite a creepy one because of the buried alive in the coffins!!! Lol. A great novellete and bonus, but so short!!

In all this book was so good. Action packed, intense and brilliant. This series is a must read!!! I do so hope that the author will expand the books and make a novel rather than a novella. I want more from this world and characters and would love to read a longer version. Saying that though, even with the length, each of these read like a novel! They are always packed full and entertaining, I'm just being greedy!!!

James Foster has captured my attention already with some of his previous works, and this just cements it. He is absolutely fantastic. So easy to listen to!! He tells the story perfectly and always delivers. He is quickly becoming one of my go to narrators.

Love the plot and gritty characters. Had fun reading the book and I am looking forward to more of this writer and series of adventure books.
Another pulse pounding, excitng and well written adventure by William Massa. This time the stakes have changed for Mark Talon as a new form of the dark powers threatens all that can be good. Insightful and action packed, Spirit Breaker proves that Mark Talon is who you're going to call when something goes bump in the night.
Spirit breaker is another dangerous adventure in talon's pursuit of occult groups. What makes this one interesting is talon is going to need assistance fighting this new entities. Which is quit interesting because If you followed the series he all ways works alone. It was eye opening to see him interact and work together with other people that don't usually have his experience when it comes to warfare.
Author William Massa wasn't kidding when he wrote this is Talon's most heart pounding adventure yet. In fact, I would call it more of an explosive ride that won't let up until you've turned the last page. Even then, I found myself thinking of Talon and his latest quest to rid the Earth of evil and the occult forces driving it.

As a huge fan of Occult Assassin series I'm happy to say this is the darkest, and best book yet. Keep them coming Mr. Massa!

William Massa continues this series with another great entry. His screenwriting experience is evident. You can clearly picture this book as movie, and Massa's writing gives this book enough forward momentum to keep me tearing through it. I enjoyed the addition of Adira, a worthy heroine, to the series, too.
Here we have the 3rd episode in the Occult Assassin Series by William Massa... Spirit Breaker!
By now you should've read the other books and know all about Mark Talon and his benefactor Casca and their fight against occult cults.
There's a Couple of 1sts in this book
1. The addition of a new character, Adira, a Paranormal Expert (Not sure IF she will be recurring or just this one appearance??
2. Casca himself takes up the battle itself, right beside Talon, risking his life, where he usually just supplies the intel and weapons??
Even though it's a Series, And I would suggest reading them in order...It's not really necessary - 'Cause each book tells a complete story!
One of the Best Damn Series Out there!
William Massa's latest entry into his Occult Assassin series starts off with a bang as Talon faces off against a drug-lord who makes human sacrifices to find favor with his dark god. I've read them all and enjoyed the others enough that I preordered this one.

Massa's screenwriting background shows with his action-packed visual storytelling. The settings are unique and add to the atmosphere, and he never fails to introduce another cool villain. The powerful otherworldly villains he encounters in this story are a challenge for even Talon's skills and firepower.

This story also offers us a glimpse into some of the other projects of Casa, his mysterious benefactor.
