     Gosh I just love this author, I've read many of Ms. Celia's books but fell in love just recently with Dragons of Preor. As I ARC for a boat load of authors some sadly I do not so i buy them and take some time to read them. I am now reading the series Ujal. I'm not sure which one was first, Ujal or Dragon of Preor  but I've gotten them all. Ohhhh this is just as good as Dragons of Preor. I would definitely recommend this book.
     Dr. Maris Xayer is a marine biologist, who studies marine life in the ocean. When a big hurricane came she was helped by a tail sporting alien. But the attraction was there and as they waited out the hurricane they got together, Maris thought it was beautiful. He left and said he be back but never came. This left Maris heart broken but worse someone watched them and took pictures and it went viral. The purist threatened, destroying her property and her life. Her human body guards decided they wanted to show her they were better lovers. Now what was she going to do?
     Vados fa Kotan, High Guard of Tave fa V’yl, Crown Prince of Ujal, was going crazy. All he could think about was the human he was with but when he came back from checking the hurricane she was gone. He couldn't eat, sleep and he was trying to forget her but no matter what he did or where he went she was there in his mind. His Prince gave him an assignment to protect some female being threatened by purist. Imagine his surprise when he found out who she was.

I truly love the way Celia Kyle writes. Her books are a beautiful description of a world with clean oceans, a very interesting interaction with the Ujals. How far will love go?Read this book and see.
This was fun and quick read. I loved the author's style of writing, and she did a wonderful job with character development. This book would have been off the charts if it had been longer and with more of the story fleshed out. It was almost like a teaser. If we could have had more it would have knocked my socks off.I understand that another installment will be coming out, and I certainly will be buying it. My only wish is that it would be a tad longer.....However, for the price you more than get your money's worth!
After reading all of Celia Kyle's dragons of preor books I was disappointed to find this one did not even compare to the worst one of them. ( there wasn't a bad one ) I am going to read the next in the Ujal series before I judge the entire series.
Entirely too short for my liking and underdeveloped. If there was more sustenance in this story, we'd be going places. The men sound awesome other then that boring. I really wanted to like this series, but I don't think ill read the next one. I've heard good things about her dragons though maybe i'll check out the first book to that series.
Very enjoyable version of the traditional shifter world. I've read all three of the Ujal books; the third one (Rhal) is the one I liked the least. Vados was a fun read that outlined the background & built the 'world' & character traits enough to prompt me to read the next ones. The longer story line of Tave was appreciated - nice plot with some funny scenes. The 3rd story (Rhal) developed in such a way as to contradict the fundamental Ujal character standards & included too many scenarios that could only be explained by incredibly stupid or unaware secondary characters - the queen, Rhal's buddies, etc. I'd definitely read a 4th in the series but if more of the anomalies cropped up, I'd pass on future ones.
This story is about Vados & Maris' mating & it's a short, fast-paced action book with a good vs bad vibe. Especially as they've already have met & have had sex. This story is about what happens after the re-connect with each other after thinking that they would never see each other again.

I have read this book before (right after Celia Kyle came out that she was Erin Tate) but had not written a review. I decided that after reading book 1 of her Preor series as it mentions the Ujal's to go back & refresh my memory of this race. I now will read the rest of the Ujal books before moving onto the rest of the Preor series.
Vados, The Ujal book 1. A steamy, fun, fast, read, a great short story. The Ujal are alien merepeople who have lived on Earth of a very long time. Vados is a High Guard and friend to the Ujal Prince. He finds his mate in a human scientist during a hurricane. Maris, a marine biologist, has an instant connection to Vados when he protects her during a hurricane. A sweet and steamy love story. Looking forward to reading more.
